Airline pilot. Systems nerd. Builder of the tools I wish someone had handed me.
I'm a First Officer at American Airlines, based in Miami, flying the A320. I got hired at a legacy in 2024 — the seat I'd been chasing for years.
Nobody handed me a playbook for any of it. Not for the interview. Not for the currency maze once I was on the line. Not for the money side of a career where your paycheck arrives in pieces — per-diem here, premium there, a hotel receipt somewhere in your flight bag.
So I built my own systems. Spreadsheets that track themselves. A question bank organized the way panels actually score. Checklists that flag expirations before they bite. They worked for me, and pilots I shared them with kept asking for copies.
RotateAndClimb is those systems, packaged for you. Everything here is something I use myself, built between trips, tested in a real airline career. I'm not a guru and I won't pretend the climb is easy — but it is climbable, and the right tools make it faster.
Blue skies,
Marcelo
